Well I haven’t been blogging. Summer and Fall brought changes for me.
But my passion remains decorating and designing. Real estate has been slow for a newbie.
Earlier in the summer I packed and moved my oldest daughter into an apartment. How many times have I done that? Let’s just say more than 10?
And my youngest welcomed her second daughter in early December. I am just over the moon about that. And getting to know my first granddaughter as she grows is the best. I must say that having grandchildren is the best thing I’ve ever done!
And then there was Christmas – my favorite decorating time of year. So even though we’re well into 2017, I’ll just share a few photos of my holiday cottage.
Since I moved into this place 14 years ago, I’ve had a church pew stored in my garage. It was taken out of the church where I grew up and is now closed. I knew I wanted to keep it but where should it go? It took me 14 years not to feel bad about having it refinished. I took it to my friend, Teresa at www.EastcoteLane.com She did a great job refinishing and distressing. I feel like it’s where it should be.
I’ve been working with clients and other REALTORS who need to downsize and stage their houses to get them ready for the Real estate market. I’d love you to go to my staging website – www.uncommoncottages.com to check out some before and after photos.
I was in New York city last week so I’ll share some interesting photos with you soon.
